Counterregulatory Hormones

Diabetapedia definition: Any hormone that opposes the effects of another hormone. For the hormone insulin, counterregulatory hormones raise blood sugar levels in response to hypoglycemia and include glucagon, epinephrine, norepinephrine, cortisol and growth hormone.
